ACCOUNT Executive

JOB SUMMARY

RockawayMore is on the lookout for a go-getter Account Executive who’s ready to shake things up and help our clients shine! You’ll take the lead in boosting brand visibility and building killer media relationships. Whether crafting next-level PR strategies, or managing editorial calendars like a pro, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure our outreach slays across TV, print, radio, and digital platforms. You’ll be the client’s right hand, providing day-to-day support, ensuring deliverables are quality, and stepping up when crisis management gets real. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and flawlessly execute PR strategies, manage editorial calendars, and support the senior team in planning and implementing impactful client campaigns and events

Pitch at national, regional, and local levels across all platforms, broadcast, print, radio, online, including calendar listings

Expand the existing network of corporate, media, and vendor contacts; solidify old relationships and forge new ones with editors, journalists, and influencers or the like — basically, amplify our reach!

Craft various written materials such as: biographies, fact sheets, press releases, media alerts, holiday and themed round-up releases 

Serve as the primary client contact, managing day-to-day activities, coordinating and updating agendas, and ensuring seamless delivery of PR tactics, with detailed notes and action items

Lead influencer outreach and oversee buzzworthy PR-related campaigns

Manage daily and monthly media clipping and reporting activities

Maintain high organizational standards across all tasks independently

Orchestrate unforgettable client events by managing every detail, from logistics to flawless execution

Help oversee crisis management efforts 

Curate and streamline company resources with innovative storage systems and dynamic PR filing strategies

Actively participate in agency meetings and events, traveling as needed for client engagements, shoots and festivals

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of an Associate's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in public relations 

Superior client relationship abilities, with excellent crisis management and problem solving 

Sharp writing skills with a proven history of producing timely, high-quality materials 

Deep knowledge of local media publications, with a general understanding of regional and national publications; desire to learn and engage with key markets in Florida, the Southeast, and the U.S. (e.g., Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Alexandria/D.C.)

Hands-on experience with event planning and management

Ability to travel when needed for job related events, and flexible to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to cover media/client events

Interest in social media and digital marketing, with the ability to integrate these elements into PR strategies

Proficient with Google Suite products (Sheets, Docs, etc.) or equivalents 

Exceptional organizational skills that would make Marie Kondo jealous

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Expert in English, both written, oral, and grammatical communication

Self-starter comfortable with a hybrid work model

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Competitive salary (because you’re worth it) $61,000 - $70,000 and opportunity to participate in the Company IRA
